McAuley Community School is seeking an inspiring and community-minded Principal to lead our vibrant Reception to Year 6 school and co-located Early Learning Centre. Grounded in the Mercy tradition, this is an opportunity to lead a faith-centred community where relationships, belonging and learning are at the heart of everything we do.

As Principal, you will work in partnership with students, families, staff, parish and the wider community to foster excellence in Catholic education. You will lead high-quality teaching and learning, nurture the faith formation of students and staff, and guide the ongoing growth of a welcoming and inclusive school where every learner is known, valued and supported to thrive.

This role will suit a visible and relational leader who is passionate about Catholic education, committed to building strong community connections, and dedicated to ensuring every student experience success and a sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities Include

- Leading and strengthening the Catholic identity, Mercy charism and faith life of the school.
- Driving excellence in teaching and learning to improve outcomes for all students.
- Building authentic partnerships with families, parish communities and local networks.
- Leading strategic improvement, innovation and evidence-informed decision-making.
- Developing staff capability through collaboration, coaching and professional growth.
- Ensuring effective stewardship of the school's people, resources, operations and finances.
