About the role We're looking for an experienced Plumber to become a key part of the business from day one. This is not just another plumbing position. You'll join the business during its establishment phase, initially working hands-on while also taking responsibility for technical leadership, quality, compliance and mentoring.
We will service the Moreton Bay region and more than 20 surrounding suburbs, creating significant scope to build a strong local operation and team. As the business grows, we want this role to grow with it. For the right person, there is a genuine pathway from senior hands-on plumber into a leadership and management position, helping shape the team, standards and day-to-day operation of the business.
Key responsibilities
Complete plumbing and gas works
Provide technical leadership
Mentor plumbers and apprentices
Maintain quality, safety and compliance
Support quoting and technical advice
Liaise with customers,
suppliers and stakeholders
Identify and manage job variations
Support planning and scheduling
Improve systems and processes
Support recruitment and team development
About you
Certificate IV in Plumbing / QLD Contractors Licence
Current Queensland plumbing licence
Gas fitting licence highly regarded
Construction Industry White Card
Current driver's licence
Strong technical plumbing experience
Robust communication and problem-solving skills
Confident working autonomously
Interest in mentoring and leadership
