Lead threat-driven cyber security analysis across secure ICT environments, with a strong focus on SOC operations, threat intelligence, vulnerability assessment, incident monitoring and response. This role suits an experienced Security Analyst with hands-on capability across Splunk Enterprise Security, EDR, NDR and SOAR platforms.

Initial 12-month contract, with 2 x 12-month extension options Security Clearance Requirement

Due to the nature of this environment, candidates are required to have a TSPV/TSPA clearance to perform this role. This position is open to Australian citizens with a valid security clearance due to role requirements. Essential Tasks





Analyse system security using threat intelligence and threat-driven assessment techniques

Monitor security events, investigate incidents and develop response plans and playbooks

Assess vulnerabilities and security controls, recommending practical remediation actions

Support security testing, evaluation activities and technical leadership requirements

Key Criteria

Demonstrated experience working in a Security Operations Centre as a Security Analyst

Robust experience using Splunk Enterprise Security

Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response and Network Detection and Response platforms

Experience with Security Orchestration, Automation and Response platforms
