This is a great opportunity for a junior construction professional looking to build a long-term career in Contracts Administration.

n

You'll join a privately owned property development and construction group with experience across residential, commercial, retail, medical and industrial projects in South East Queensland. The business has a growing pipeline and offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced construction professionals.

n

You won't be expected to know everything from day one. You'll receive one-on-one training and mentoring, gaining practical exposure across the commercial and contractual side of projects while gradually taking on more responsibility.

The Role Working alongside an experienced senior team member, you'll gain exposure to:

- Construction contract administration
n
- Procurement and subcontractor engagement
n
- Preparing subcontractor packages and scopes of work
n
- Obtaining and comparing quotations
n
- Purchase orders and subcontract agreements
n
- Progress claims and variations
n
- Cost tracking and project reporting
n
- Maintaining project and contract documentation
n
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and project teams
n
- Attending site and project meetings

- Supporting the commercial management of projects
n

About You

This role could suit a:

- Recent Construction Management or Quantity Surveying graduate
n
- Construction Cadet
n
- Junior Contracts Administrator

- Project Administrator with construction experience

- Construction skilled looking to move into Contracts Administration

More importantly, you'll be someone who is keen to learn, organised, detail-focused and genuinely interested in building a career in construction.

You'll be comfortable working with numbers and documentation, confident communicating with different stakeholders and willing to get involved across different areas of a project.
