Refrigeration Mechanic / AC Service Technician — Brendale, QLD

Voltora is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic or Service Technician to join our team.

n

This is an on-the-tools role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, wants well-organised jobs, good support, and a company that backs its staff properly. We're Brendale-based, and the majority of our workload sits within 30 minutes of the depot — so if you're local and over the long commutes, this is your chance to work close to home.

You'll be working across a mix of commercial and residential installation, service, and upgrade projects, delivering quality outcomes for builders, clients, and site managers. Our emphasis is quality over quantity — we'd rather do the job right than rush to the next one.

What We Offer

- $55+/hr to start, depending on qualifications and experience — above award rates and allowances
n
- Brand new take-home vehicle

- Fuel card, uniforms, phone/tablet, and tolls covered

- Standard hours 7:00–3:00 — but if that doesn't suit your situation, we're open to alternatives (8–4, 9–5)

- Overtime available if you want it — never forced

The Role

n





You'll be responsible for delivering commercial and residential installation, service, and upgrade works to a high standard. Responsibilities include:

n

- Commercial and residential air conditioning and refrigeration installations
n
- Diagnostics, fault finding, servicing, and repairs
n
- Fit‐outs, replacements, and upgrade works
n
- Split systems, ducted systems, cassettes, and packaged units
n
- Testing and commissioning
n
- Working from plans, scopes, and site programmes
n
- Assisting with materials planning and keeping jobs moving on site
n
- Liaising with builders, site managers, and clients
n
- Maintaining high workmanship, safety, and presentation standards
n
- Representing Voltora professionally on every site
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Refrigeration mechanic with installation, diagnostic, and service experience — or a service tech with solid diagnostic skills
n
- Dual trades welcome
n
- Current CPR / LVR
n
- 5+ years trade experience preferred
n
- Reliable, organised, and solutions-focused
n
- Confident working with clients, builders, and site managers
n
- Pride in workmanship and personal presentation
n
- A long-term career mindset
n
