About the Role

We are seeking experienced Mining Supervisors to join our WA Goldfields operations on a FIFO 8/6 roster (ex-Perth). As a key leader on site, you will oversee daily mining activities, drive production performance, and ensure strict adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strong and visible frontline leadership, promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring all work is conducted in line with site Safety Management Systems, Critical Risk Controls, and WA WHS legislation.
- Coordinate and supervise day-to-day mining operations to safely achieve production and operational targets.
- Lead pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, workplace inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, environmental, client, and company requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor crew performance, productivity, equipment utilisation, and operational KPIs, taking corrective action where required.
- Mentor, coach, and develop Operators and Leading Hands to build team capability and succession pathways.
- Work closely with Technical Services, Drill & Blast, Maintenance, and client representatives to optimise mining performance and achieve plan compliance.
- Contribute to workforce planning, equipment allocation,



and shift execution to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
- Identify, implement, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, operational efficiency, and cost performance.
- Complete shift reporting, investigations, statutory documentation, and other operational reporting requirements.

About You

- Demonstrated experience as a Mining Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, or similar leadership role within an open pit mining environment.
- Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience leading production mining crews.
- Strong understanding of the Western Australian Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022 and associated statutory requirements.
- Proven commitment to safety leadership and critical risk management.
- Ability to effectively lead diverse teams in a dynamic mining environment while maintaining positive workforce engagement.
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, planning, and decision-making skills.
- Competent with operational reporting systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Current C Class Australian Driver's Licence.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance.

Mandatory Requirement

- Schedule 26 (S26) – must be current and held prior to application

Desirable

- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
