Professional Waitstaff The Australian Club – Melbourne CBD One of Australia’s most prestigious private clubs, providing a Food & Beverage experience of the highest standard to their members and guests are seeking F&B; Professionals who will relish in the opportunity to develop their talents and passion for dining experiences. The Club provides a relaxed environment away from the hectic pace of the CBD, where members can enjoy the company of friends in the iconic setting. The club offers Accommodation and Food & Beverage services via two a la carte dining rooms, in addition to a range of function rooms for Private and Club events for up to 200 guests.

Job Role requirements include:





- Demonstrated experience within a club, prestigious hotel, or similar scale venue, with a focus on fine dining service
- Have an understanding of a la carte food service, as well as event function work.
- Your ability to be able to manage a section of the a la carte dining room, and be able to work autonomously when required on Club events & functions
- Work collaboratively and professionally within the Service team, alongside the Kitchen team in the service of the members of the Club
- Able to demonstrate consistent service capability during busy service periods
- Operate in a manner that is secure for self and others at all times, adhering to Food Safety and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements.
- Knowledge and experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems common in hospitality.
- Working well within a team by being agile and flexible, with organizational, communication and problem solving skills.
