Data#3 is seeking an experienced Program Manager to provide senior program-level leadership for a major, multi-year technology and data transformation program. The program is a large, organisation-wide transformation covering data infrastructure, data security and governance, integrated tools and user experience, and the development of a sustainable service and operating model.

It is well established and well run, and is now moving into its delivery phase. Procurement is complete, the major delivery partner is mobilising, and governance, delivery structures and workstream leadership are in place. The coming months are focused on vendor mobilisation and rebaselining, technical readiness and architecture, new data capability delivery, key platform decisions, and governance and operating model activities, ahead of major infrastructure delivery next year.

Duties of the role

Existing Project Managers and workstream leads will continue to run their established streams. You will provide the program-level leadership and integration layer across them, rather than rebuild or take over workstream delivery.

You will be accountable for:

- Overall program integration, priorities and delivery oversight
- Integrated planning, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies
- Program governance, assurance, executive reporting and escalation




- Financial management, forecasting and reporting
- Driving time-critical program decisions through to resolution
- Senior stakeholder management across business, technology and executive leadership
- Vendor and delivery partner management, including commitments and performance
- Leading and coordinating Project Managers, workstream leads and matrix resources

Skills and experience

- Significant experience personally leading large, complex technology, data or transformation programs with end-to-end accountability
- Strong program governance, financial management, risk and dependency management
- Experience managing major vendors, delivery partners or systems integrators
- Solid executive stakeholder engagement, including navigating competing priorities
- Proven ability to lead through matrix structures and established Project Managers and workstream leads
- Sound judgement, pragmatism and confidence operating through ambiguity and change
- Ability to translate complex delivery, financial and risk matters into clear executive reporting
- Comfortable inheriting a functioning program and adapting your approach to the organisation, rather than applying a previous delivery model unchanged
