About the role:
The Program Marketing Lead is a dedicated resource responsible for driving the end-to-end marketing strategy for one of Sportsnet's key programs. The role owns the marketing roadmap across the full event lifecycle and helps to coordinate activity in partnership with a cross-functional team of web developers, graphic designers, content writers and digital marketing specialists to bring campaigns to life across website, email, SMS, print, broadcast and social media... just to name a few!
This is a program-dedicated role suited to someone who can operate strategically while staying close to execution, and who is comfortable managing multiple stakeholders across Sportsnet®, event partners and the official tournament organiser.
A successful Program Marketing Lead will possess:

- An understanding of working in a deadline-driven environment
Main responsibilities include:
- Support the Marketing Manager in developing campaign strategies aligned to brand and commercial objectives
- Manage ongoing, dynamic marketing campaigns and execute across a broad range of digital and affiliate channels
- Work closely with content writers, digital specialists, developers and designers to execute campaign requirements across all relevant channels
- Plan and manage EDM, SMS, organic, and paid social media calendars
- Support SEO and UX optimisation across all website content in conjunction with developers, designers and digital marketing specialists
- Assist in planning and implementing customer journey content across manual and automated channels
- Support the mapping of customer touchpoints across different audience segments and marketing objectives
- Assist in maintaining clear marketing communication channels between internal and external stakeholders for one of Sportsnet's key programs
Applicants must have:
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with demonstrated experience leading campaigns for a major event, sporting property or program
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager or equivalent paid social platforms
- Strong copywriting and proofreading skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools
- Working knowledge of design principles and visual brand consistency, with the ability to give clear, constructive creative briefs and work collaboratively with graphic designers
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva sufficient to review, adjust or mock up simple assets when needed
- Ability to operate autonomously in a dedicated, high-visibility program role
