RAD architecture is seeking a Project Architect or Associate to join our West Leederville studio, with an opportunity to grow into an increasingly influential role within the practice.

We’re interested in the experience, attitude and ideas you bring. You may be a Project Architect ready to progress towards an Associate role, or an established Associate seeking greater involvement in a small, design-focused practice. Experience in multi-residential or mixed-use projects is particularly valued.

What you’ll bring We’re seeking an experienced practitioner who combines architectural capability with sound project judgement and a collaborative approach to leadership. Your strengths may lie in front-end design and development approvals, technical documentation and delivery, or extend across the full project lifecycle.

You will bring the ability to guide projects, resolve complex design and coordination issues, and maintain productive relationships with clients and consultants. We also value an interest in developing colleagues and contributing to the wider studio.

Candidates should demonstrate

- A qualification in architecture and substantial relevant professional practice experience.
- Experience leading projects or significant project stages, supported by a portfolio that clearly communicates your role.
- Strong design and/or technical resolution skills, with a commitment to maintaining design quality through delivery.
- Proficiency in Revit and experience coordinating architectural documentation.
- Capability in consultant coordination, client communication and stakeholder liaison.
- An organised approach to project programmes, priorities and team responsibilities.
- Initiative,



accountability and the ability to support and guide less experienced colleagues.

Experience leading multi-residential, mixed-use or other complex building projects will be highly regarded. For an Associate appointment, we are particularly interested in your capacity to contribute beyond individual projects and grow with the practice. The role offers scope to take on greater responsibility for team development, client relationships and practice leadership as your contribution evolves.
