We're growing, and we're looking for Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers to join our delivery teams across a range of exciting civil construction projects. The Opportunity

Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and Supervisors, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of civil construction projects — from planning and documentation through to construction, commissioning and close-out. This is a broad, hands-on role covering technical, commercial and administrative aspects of project delivery, with genuine variety and room to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Coordination

- Support the planning, coordination and delivery of civil works, including earthworks, roadworks, drainage and infrastructure.

- Assist with the interpretation of drawings, specifications and contract documentation.

- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site resources to support project programs.

- Monitor construction progress against project programs and specifications.

Technical & Quality




- Review and manage technical documentation, including RFIs, drawings, specifications and design changes.

- Undertake quality assurance and quality control activities, including inspections and test verification.

- Support survey, setout and as-constructed documentation.

- Identify and help resolve technical issues arising during construction.

Commercial & Reporting
- Assist with procurement of materials, plant and subcontractors.

- Support cost tracking, forecasting and variation management.

- Contribute to progress claims, reporting and project documentation.

- Assist with the preparation of project programs and lookaheads.

Safety & Compliance
- Promote and comply with BOS Civil's WHS policies, procedures and safety culture.

- Support site inductions, toolbox talks and safety inspections.

- Identify hazards and support the implementation of corrective actions.

Leadership & Development (Senior Project Engineer)
- Provide guidance, mentoring and technical support to Project Engineers and Cadets.

- Take a lead role coordinating specific work packages or project areas.

- Support the development of junior team members' technical and commercial capability.

What You Will Bring

Essential





- Civil construction experience ranging from graduate/early-career through to senior project engineering, depending on the level applied for.

- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

- Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials and processes.

- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and contract documents.

- Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

- Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Highly Regarded
- Experience with earthworks, roadworks or infrastructure projects.

- Familiarity with project management, scheduling or commercial software (e.g. MS Project, Jobpac).

- White Card and relevant site safety training.

- For Senior Project Engineer applicants: demonstrated experience mentoring junior engineers and leading work packages.
