Role Description The Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer will support and lead the planning, design, and delivery of civil and infrastructure projects for public and private sector clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating project activities, preparing technical documentation and reports, performing design and engineering calculations, and supporting procurement and construction phases. The role involves engaging with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, monitoring project progress against scope, schedule, and budget,



and contributing to risk management and quality assurance processes.

The position is full-time and on-site, based in the Greater Hobart Area, with opportunities to work across a variety of civil engineering and urban development projects.

Requirements

- Candidates should possess strong Civil Engineering knowledge relevant to infrastructure and built environment projects.
- Candidates should possess solid Project Management and Project Planning skills for coordinating scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering (e.g., Civil or related discipline) and eligibility for skilled membership or registration.
- Experience working on civil infrastructure or similar projects, preferably in consultancy or client-side environments (5 to 10 years)
- Proficiency with standard engineering design tools, documentation software, and applicable standards and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to project delivery.
