Project Lead, Enterprise Bargaining | 3-Month Contract Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead, Enterprise Bargaining, to join a respected community-focused organisation in Cairns on an initial 3-month contract.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced industrial relations or HR professional to lead a critical enterprise bargaining project from commencement through to completion. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will drive negotiations, manage engagement activities, ensure legislative compliance, and support the successful delivery of a new Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.

With a robust commitment to community outcomes, collaboration and continuous improvement, they are seeking a capable project lead to guide an important workforce initiative during a significant period of organisational change.

Your new role

Reporting to the Manager Human Resources, you will take ownership of the enterprise bargaining process and provide strategic support throughout the negotiation lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include

- Leading the end-to-end Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) negotiation process
- Managing stakeholder engagement with employee groups, unions and external advisors
- Facilitating bargaining meetings and consultation activities
- Ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act and relevant industrial relations legislation
- Developing communication and engagement strategies throughout the bargaining process
- Conducting workforce analysis,



risk assessments and cost modelling
- Coordinating key negotiation milestones and project deliverables
- Preparing reports, documentation and submissions to support bargaining outcomes
- Supporting implementation, change management and communication activities following agreement approval

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this position, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting Enterprise Bargaining Agreement negotiations
- Strong knowledge of industrial relations legislation, employment law and Fair Work requirements
- Experience working with unions, employee representatives and senior stakeholders
- Excellent negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills
- Strong analytical and project management capabilities
- Experience undertaking workforce planning, risk analysis or cost modelling activities
- Highly developed communication and presentation skills
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or a related discipline
