SSH Mining is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the mobilisation, construction, site establishment, processing infrastructure and operational-readiness phase of a current gold mining project in the Leonora region.

This is a hands-on project delivery role suited to someone with strong mining, construction and processing infrastructure experience who can coordinate multiple work fronts and take the project through to commissioning and operational handover.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead project mobilisation and site establishment through to commissioning and handover.
- Manage project schedule, budget, procurement, cost control, risk and key project interfaces.
- Coordinate civil works including roads, drainage, clearing and grubbing, bulk earthworks, pads and haulage infrastructure.
- Manage site access and internal haul-road upgrades for heavy mining and construction equipment.
- Coordinate utilities, site services and supporting infrastructure.
- Oversee establishment of workshops, offices, laydown areas and other site facilities.
- Coordinate construction and establishment of processing infrastructure, including heap leach facilities, crushing circuits and associated plant infrastructure.
- Manage contractors and concurrent work fronts across civil, mechanical, electrical, infrastructure and processing activities.
- Coordinate delivery and installation of long-lead equipment and project infrastructure.
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved designs, project standards, budget and HSE requirements.
- Manage commissioning, operational readiness and transition of completed infrastructure into operations.
- Maintain strong communication with SSH Mining,



the client and key contractors throughout project delivery.

About You We are looking for a practical, site-focused Project Manager with demonstrated experience delivering mining, construction or infrastructure projects in remote operating environments.

Ideally, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience establishing and delivering mining projects from mobilisation through to operational readiness.
- Strong contractor management and project delivery capability.
- Experience across roads, drainage, bulk earthworks and mining infrastructure.
- Experience establishing, constructing and/or managing mineral processing infrastructure or processing operations.
- Exposure to gold processing facilities, crushing circuits, heap leach facilities, TSFs and associated infrastructure highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgets, procurement, cost control and contractor performance.
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management capability.
- Practical understanding of commissioning and operational-readiness requirements.
- Strong commitment to safety and visible field leadership.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or similar preferred but not essential.
- Current WA C Class Driver’s Licence.
- WA Supervisor / Quarry Manager qualifications highly regarded.

Location & Roster This is a blended Perth and Leonora-based role, initially involving time across both locations.

We are open to discussing either a 4:3 roster or a 4:3 / 8:6 blended arrangement for the right candidate.
