Your new role

Working as a Project Officer within a collaborative Capital Works team, you'll contribute to projects that directly benefit the local community while gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio of infrastructure works.

- Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Project Officer to support the delivery of parks and community infrastructure projects across multiple sites.
- Coordinate the delivery of parks and community infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and contractor performance to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Conduct regular site inspections across multiple project locations and provide progress updates.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, schedules, and project records.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, internal stakeholders, and community representatives throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist with procurement, contract administration, and project reporting activities.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with organisational standards and requirements.
- Identify project risks, resolve issues proactively,



and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

- Experience delivering construction, landscaping, parks, community infrastructure, or capital works projects.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Robust organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working with contractors and consultants.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to travel between multiple project sites.
- White Card and current C Class Driver's Licence preferred.
