Due to the successful award of multiple civil infrastructure projects across Brisbane and South East Queensland, our client is seeking experienced Project Engineers and Site Engineers to join a high-performing delivery team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established civil contractor delivering complex road, highway, bridge, intersection upgrade and transport infrastructure projects throughout the region. Your new role
Reporting to the Project Manager and Construction Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of major civil infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating and managing daily construction activities
- Supporting project planning, programming and delivery outcomes
- Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site crews
- Preparing and reviewing project documentation, ITPs and SWMS
- Monitoring project costs, productivity and progress against programme
- Assisting with procurement and contract administration activities
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to specification
- Liaising with clients, consultants and key project stakeholders
- Driving quality,
compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer within civil construction
- Exposure to road, highway, bridge, earthworks, drainage, structures or transport infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of TMR standards and specifications will be highly regarded
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a project delivery team
- A proactive approach and strong problem-solving capability
