Specialising in the SME market, the firm offers comprehensive services in accounting, taxation, SMSF and wealth management. They are now seeking an Undergraduate/Junior Accountant looking to develop their career in a public pratice firm. You will have the opportunity to work across a broad scope of tax and compliance work for different clients, while receiving hands-on training from senior team members. Inside the office you'll find a laid-back and down-to-earth teaam where you'll have direct access to the Partners. The business is happy to consider part time hours (3 or 4 days) for an undergraduate still completing their degree.



Preparing financial statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations Liaising with various statutory authorities such as the ATO & ASIC on behalf of client The ideal candidate will possess: An accounting relevant tertiary degree - or be currently undertaking this Prior accounting experience (either in a firm or for a business) would be considered highly advantageous A genuine interest in growing your career in the accounting sector Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with Xero software is highly advantageous although not essential
