We're currently looking for experienced and reliable Casual Disability Support Workers to join our growing team, with opportunities across Brisbane's northside and Caboolture.

n

This role involves supporting participants with complex needs, so we are looking for professionals who are confident and can bring demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality, person-centred support in more challenging environments.

n

You'll also have the opportunity to support participants to engage in meaningful and enjoyable experiences, including community outings and activities that promote connection, confidence, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
n
- Help clients achieve their goals in line with their NDIS plan
n
- Provide companionship and emotional support
n
- Support clients in the community with transport and participation in social activities
n
- Administer and manage medication
n
- Manual handling assistance when needed
n
- Building positive relationships with clients, families, and the broader ERA Care team
n

What We're Looking For

- Applicants must be willing and able to reliably travel to Brisbane's northside and Caboolture for rostered shifts.
n
- A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities
n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
n
- Flexibility to work across various shifts (including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays)
n
- Valuable vibes and a variety of interests — whether it's cats, boardgames, crafts, or just a great sense of humour — to help create meaningful and engaging experiences
n
- Reliable and responsive team player
n
- Experience with complex clients
n
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- Current Blue Card
n
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
n
- Current Driver's Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
n
- Manual Handling and Medication Assistance training (or willing to obtain)
n
- Qualifications in Disability Support, Community Services, or related field (preferred)
