Job Description

A key aspect of the role is providing qualified learning and direct coaching to teachers on designing specialised, differentiated curriculum to address the diverse learning needs of students facing educational barriers, as well as effective reporting practices using the Special Educational Needs (SEN) templates in Response to Teaching and Planning (RTP).

Key responsibilities

- Key skills and attributes for this role include the ability to foster positive relationships with key stakeholders and provide timely support to students, staff and families using a student-centred case management model.

- Development of best practice learning support documentation for use by teachers.
n
- Lead the collection and collation of Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) and determine eligibility.
n
- Lead and manage disability adjustments for standardised testing, including OLNA, NAPLAN and special examination arrangements.

What you need

- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
n
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
