About the Role

n

Due to continued growth, current projects and exciting new projects commencing, BSF Mobile Cranes is looking for an experienced Crane Supervisor to join our team.

n

Recent additions to our fleet include 250t, 300t and 450t Liebherr all-terrain cranes, along with two 280t crawler cranes, creating an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor with heavy lift and major project experience.

n

This is a hands-on,



full time position where you will work closely with our existing Crane Supervisors, Business Development Managers and General Manager.

n

You'll be involved from the early stages of a job—conducting site inspections, developing lifting solutions and assisting with pricing—through to lift planning, documentation and on-site supervision.

n

You will also provide technical guidance and leadership to our crane operators and riggers, helping ensure lifting operations are completed safely, professionally and efficiently.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Maintaining a strong safety-first approach across all lifting operations
n
- Conducting client site and job inspections
n
- Planning lifts and developing practical lifting solutions
n
- Supervising major lifts and project work on site
n
- Preparing and managing lift documentation
n
- Conducting pre-start and toolbox meetings
n
- Undertaking safety observations and providing constructive feedback to crane crews
n
- Identifying and managing site hazards and operational risks
n
- Assisting with client pricing and job planning
n
- Providing technical guidance to crane operators and riggers
n
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
n
- Identifying opportunities for new business and customer development
n




- Leading by example and positively contributing to BSF Mobile Cranes' team culture

About You

n

We are looking for a motivated, organised and experienced Crane Supervisor who takes pride in delivering safe and professional lifting solutions.

n

Ideally, you will have:

n

n
- Current or recent experience in crane supervision, preferably within South-East Queensland
n
- Experience within the crane hire and/or construction industry
n
- Demonstrated heavy lift and major project experience
n
- Strong technical knowledge of cranes and lifting operations
n
- Experience with Microsoft Office and LICCON
n
- AutoCAD experience is highly regarded
n
- Current relevant High Risk Work Licences, including RI and CO
n
- Current HR Driver Licence
n
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
n
- Strong planning and organisational skills
n
- A high work ethic and results-focused approach
n
- A professional, trustworthy and proactive attitude
n
- The ability to lead crews and maintain a positive team culture
n
