We are looking for experienced CNC Brake Press Setters / Operators for long-term positions with established engineering and fabrication businesses in Hallam. The opportunity

$38–$40 per hour + super Full-time hours on a casual ongoing basis Day shift Immediate start Overtime available where required Opportunity for ongoing employment for the right person What you’ll be doing

Set up and operate CNC brake presses Program jobs directly from engineering drawings Select, install and align punches and dies Set back gauges and bending sequences Calculate bend allowances and adjust programs Complete trial bends and make necessary adjustments Check bend angles using verniers, protractors and other measuring equipment Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet specifications Read and interpret engineering drawings Work safely and independently What we’re looking for





Proven CNC brake press setting and operating experience Ability to program jobs from engineering drawings Strong understanding of tooling, bend sequences and material behaviour Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience with measuring equipment including verniers and protractors Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently Experience with Yawei, Delem DA-65 or Machtech equipment is advantageous but not essential.
