We are looking for a passionate and hard working

casual cook or chef

to join our team at The Lake Illawarra Hotel. You will be working in a kitchen with a team of fun and positive chefs.

We want someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude and a growth mindset. We are passionate about producing great food, from pub classics to fresh, seasonal specials.

This is a casual role, with around 20-30 hours per week.

If you take advantage of this terrific prospect and are successful, you will work with a great team who aspire to produce consistent, quality meals, trading 7 days a week.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience as a Cook/Chef is required

Cooking in all sections

Understanding of stock control and waste minimisation

Knowledge of all kitchen procedures, food handling and workplace safety

Food Safety Certificate

Tasks and Responsibilities

Cooking pub/hotel food in accordance with the menu and standards

Placing food orders as required

Ensure health and safety regulations and allergen control
