Enthusiastic Store Manager - 2 Days Per Week Are you an experienced retail or hospitality leader who loves creating memorable experiences for families?

We are seeking a mature-minded, enthusiastic and reliable Casual Store Manager to join our team at a fun, well-known and popular children's play centre in the Sutherland Shire.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, leading a team, delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy family entertainment venue.

Sunday and Monday availability is mandatory for this role. Additional availability, particularly midweek and Saturday evenings will be highly regarded.

About You

A minimum of

3 years' experience in a retail, hospitality or similar supervisory/management role

A mature mindset with the confidence to lead by example

A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for excellent customer service

Robust people management skills and the ability to motivate and support a team consisting mainly of young people and teenagers

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high operational standards

Initiative, reliability and the ability to work independently

A sensible, calm and practical approach to problem-solving

Experience handling customer complaints professionally and effectively





Cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation experience

Intermediate computer skills and confidence using workplace systems

The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment

A

current and valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)

A

current First Aid Certificate

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach and support team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences

Oversee daily venue operations and ensure smooth running of the centre

Manage customer enquiries, feedback and complaints with professionalism

Maintain excellent presentation, cleanliness and safety standards

Complete senior retail-style duties including cash management, reporting and operational tasks

Train and mentor team members, encouraging accountability and teamwork

Ensure policies, procedures and service standards are consistently followed

Promote a safe, positive and welcoming environment for children, families and staff
