About The POST Centre The POST Centre is a neurodiversity-affirming, multidisciplinary allied health clinic and NDIS-registered provider based in Malvern East.

We support children, young people and their families through collaborative, evidence-based and strengths-based care. Our team provides Psychology, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and other allied health supports.

Our clinicians work with a mixed caseload of private clients and NDIS participants, providing variety across presentations, goals, assessments and therapeutic support.

As our clinic continues to grow, we are looking for a passionate Educational and Developmental Psychologist to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking an Educational and Developmental Psychologist who enjoys working with children, adolescents and families and who is passionate about understanding each young person’s individual developmental, emotional, behavioural and learning profile.

We are open to full time, part time and subcontractor arrangements, depending on your availability and preferred way of working.

You will primarily work from our Malvern East clinic and manage a mixed caseload of private clients and NDIS participants.

Your caseload may include children and adolescents requiring support with:

- Emotional regulation
- Anxiety and emotional wellbeing
- Behavioural and developmental concerns
- Learning difficulties
- Attention and executive functioning
- Autism and neurodevelopmental differences
- Social and emotional development
- School-related challenges
- Parent and caregiver support
- Functional impacts of disability
- Adjustment and coping
- Developmental and psychological assessment

Depending on your experience and scope of practice, the role may also include formal psychological and educational assessments.

Key Responsibilities

You will

- Conduct psychological assessments and develop individualised intervention plans
- Provide evidence-informed psychological therapy to children and adolescents
- Support clients using neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based and developmentally appropriate approaches




- Work with children and families experiencing emotional, behavioural, developmental and learning challenges
- Conduct educational, developmental and cognitive assessments where appropriate to your scope
- Provide parent consultation, education and practical strategies
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, schools and other professionals
- Prepare clinical notes, psychological reports and NDIS-related documentation
- Contribute to NDIS goal planning and progress reporting where required
- Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and collaborative care planning
- Maintain appropriate clinical records and qualified documentation
- Participate in supervision, professional development and team meetings where applicable
- Contribute positively to our inclusive and team-oriented clinic culture

About You

We would love to hear from you if you:

- Hold recognised postgraduate qualifications in Psychology
- Hold current registration with AHPRA
- Have endorsement in Educational and Developmental Psychology, or are working toward endorsement through an approved registrar program
- Have, or are eligible to obtain, an NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Hold a current Working With Children Check
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy working collaboratively with children, adolescents, families and multidisciplinary teams
- Are confident completing clinical documentation and psychological reports
- Are comfortable working with both private and NDIS-funded clients
- Value neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based and family-centred practice
- Respect individual differences in development, communication, learning and behaviour
- Are enthusiastic about ongoing professional development

Psychologists with relevant paediatric experience, Educational and Developmental Psychology registrars, and suitably experienced clinicians are encouraged to apply.

For subcontractors, we can provide access to an established clinic environment, administrative support, referral opportunities and the benefit of working alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Subcontractors will be required to maintain appropriate registration, professional indemnity insurance, clearances and other documentation relevant to their role.
