Senior Automation QA - Mobile Apps

Attractive daily rate 6 months contract role

About the company

One of Australia's largest retail networks, running a store footprint that spans the country. Behind the customer-facing side there's a responsible internal tech operation building the tools that keep stores running, and mobile is a growing focus, with dedicated squads building the apps their own people use on the shop floor every shift.

About the role

You'll join one of mobile squads building internal, team-facing apps used by in-store staff on handheld devices nationwide, think stock checks, tasks and day-to-day workflow tools rather than a customer-facing product. It's a squad-based gig rather than a single fixed project,



so you'll pick up the automation needs and evolve with it, working closely with the engineers and product folks embedded in that team. Six months to start, with real scope to shape how mobile automation gets done across the space rather than just executing someone else's test plan.

What we're looking for

- Automation experience with Appium and Flutter (bonus points if you've used Patrol)
- Solid experience testing mobile apps on both iOS and Android
- Experience with Octopus for CI/CD pipelines
- Nice to have: BDD frameworks like Cucumber, backend API testing, or performance/load testing experience
