TQA Consulting is seeking a Quality and Testing Manager for a full-time contract until 30 June 2027 in Darwin, NT. Candidates must be based in Darwin or willing to relocate.

About The Role The Quality & Testing Manager will be responsible for managing testing services across a major, multi-year healthcare technology program with the NT Government. The role will also work closely with Project Managers and program leads to ensure comprehensive test plans are developed, implemented and delivered to support the quality of project outcomes.

The role will require working closely with:

- Project Managers and other program resources.

- Clinical Safety Officers to ensure clinical safety standards are appropriately considered and embedded across projects, where required.

- Government stakeholders.

- Clinicians, Business and System stakeholders where required.

Essential Skills and Experience

- Demonstrated experience working as a Test Manager or Senior Test Lead within a large-scale ICT program in the health sector, with an understanding of clinical terminology, data and technology systems.

- Proven experience leading and coordinating testing teams to deliver testing services across a program setting.

- Ability to define and communicate the purpose, objectives and expected outcomes of an effective quality and testing function.

- Strong knowledge of testing and quality management principles, methodologies, frameworks and industry practices.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and apply appropriate testing approaches to ensure outcomes meet customer, business and program requirements.





- Experience leading teams in documenting and communicating functional and technical testing requirements in clear and accessible language for a broad range of stakeholders.

- Extensive experience reviewing and assessing test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test scripts to ensure they are appropriate and complete.

- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, as well as relevant project delivery methodologies, processes and frameworks.

- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with business, technical, vendor and program stakeholders.

- Experience across Test Management and Test Automation practices, methods and tools.

- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise plans, reports and presentations, and tailor written information to suit different audiences and objectives.

Desirable Skills and Experience

- Familiarity with the Australian National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.

- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management principles and their application within an organisational environment.

- Relevant testing certifications, such as ISTQB, will be highly regarded.

- Experience testing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions.

- Experience using SmartBear TestComplete for test automation.
