About the role

n

As the Team Leader Logistics at Starkey Australia, you will be responsible for leading a team of logistics Team members to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of products to our customers. This full-time role is based in our Alexandria, NSW facility and will involve overseeing the day-to-day operations of our logistics department.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the logistics team, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and on time
n
- Develop and implement logistics rosters, plans and procedures to optimise workflow and meet delivery targets
n
- Monitor inventory levels and work with the warehouse team to maintain appropriate stock levels
n
- Liaise with other department and suppliers to address any delivery-related issues or queries
n
- Provide training and development opportunities for the logistics team to enhance their skills and knowledge
n




- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency
n
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a logistics or supply chain management role, preferably within the health industry
n
- Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to achieve operational goals
n
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think strategically
n
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams
n
- very strong attention to detail abilities
n
- Proficient in using logistics management software and technology
n
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices
n
- Tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain management or a related field is desirable
n
