A friendly, reliable and customer-focused Casual Pool Shop Assistant role in a local pool shop. This is a excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in pools and outdoor living, and is happy to get hands‐on with a variety of tasks.

Key responsibilities

- Helping customers with their pool and water‐care needs
n
- Testing pool water and recommending appropriate products
n
- Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service
n
- Maintaining and cleaning display pools
n
- Keeping the shop, displays and shelves clean and well presented
n
- Restocking products and general shop duties
n
- Processing sales and handling basic cash register/POS duties
n
- Assisting with stock deliveries and inventory
n




- Providing general advice on pool chemicals, equipment and maintenance
n

- Friendly, approachable and confident talking to customers
n
- Reliable and punctual
n
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
n
- Practical and happy to get their hands dirty
n
- Well presented and customer focused
n
- Willing to learn about pool chemicals, equipment and water testing
n
- Previous retail or pool industry experience is preferred but not essential — training will be provided
