About the Venue:
n Located within the Holiday Inn Warwick Farm precinct, The Warwick is a busy and diverse hospitality venue featuring an open kitchen, wood-fired pizza, sports bar, beer garden, VIP lounge, retail liquor and a large-scale Events Centre. With a strong local customer base and a diverse range of hospitality and events offerings, The Warwick is a fast-paced venue that requires strong operational leadership across the business.

About the Role:
n We are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of The Warwick and Events Centre on a full-time basis.

n

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced hospitality manager with a strong gaming background and a proven ability to lead, train and develop high-performing teams.

n

You will take ownership of the venue's operational performance, team leadership and customer experience, working closely with the wider management team to drive high standards, compliance and commercial outcomes across The Warwick and Events Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

n

Oversee the day-to-day operations of The Warwick and Events Centre, ensuring consistent standards across all areas of the business

n

Lead, coach and develop a diverse hospitality team

n

Train, mentor and develop Department Managers to build a strong and capable leadership team

n

Drive high standards across gaming, food and beverage, customer service and venue presentation

n

Monitor and manage venue performance, budgets and key financial targets

n

Ensure compliance with all gaming, liquor, RSA, RCG and WHS requirements

n

Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders

n

Manage rostering, labour costs and team performance

n

Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and overall venue performance

n

Lead by example and foster a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture

n

About You:

n





Previous experience as a Venue Manager, Operations Manager or senior hospitality leader

n

Strong gaming background with a sound understanding of gaming operations and compliance

n

Proven experience leading, training and developing hospitality teams

n

Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop strong Department Managers

n

Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, labour and venue performance

n

Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills

n

A hands-on management style with the ability to lead from the front

n

Current NSW RSA and RCG qualifications

n

Ability to work a flexible roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays

n

Lead a diverse and established hospitality venue

n

Work within the wider Holiday Inn Warwick Farm precinct
