Vincents is looking for a Junior Finance Officer – Accounts Receivable to join our Finance team in Brisbane. This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who is organised, detail-focused and eager to develop their Accounts Receivable experience in a professional services environment. You don't need to know everything from day one. What matters is that you're willing to learn, can follow direction, pay attention to detail and aren't afraid to ask questions when you're unsure.

Why this role matters Our Finance team plays an important role in keeping the business running smoothly. In this role, you'll help ensure client payments are accurately processed and allocated, records are kept up to date, and any discrepancies are identified and followed up. You'll work closely with experienced members of the Finance team, giving you the opportunity to build your knowledge of accounts receivable, finance systems and professional services while developing your career with Vincents. Job Description What you'll be doing You'll provide day-to-day administrative support across our accounts receivable function, including: Reviewing daily bank transactions and identifying client payments Matching payments to remittance advices, invoices and client accounts Processing and allocating client receipts accurately and promptly Identifying and escalating short payments, overpayments,



duplicate payments and unmatched receipts Preparing routine reports and schedules as required Responding to routine queries from internal stakeholders and clients Providing general administrative support to the Finance team

What we're looking for We're looking for someone who is: Organised and detail-focused; you take pride in getting the small things right Reliable and consistent; you can follow processes and complete routine tasks accurately and on time Willing to learn; you're keen to develop your finance knowledge and learn new systems Comfortable taking direction; you listen, take guidance on board and follow established processes Confident to ask questions; if you're unsure or something doesn't look right, you speak up and seek clarification rather than making assumptions A team player: you enjoy working collaboratively and supporting those around you Skilled and service-focused; you communicate clearly and take pride in providing a positive experience to colleagues and clients

Previous experience in accounts receivable, finance administration, banking administration or a similar role would be advantageous, but we're also open to someone early in their career who has the right attitude and willingness to learn.
