At VDI Australia, we are leading the transition to cleaner, smarter and more sustainable transport solutions. As the national distributor of Yutong buses and coaches, we are growing quick and looking for a commercially savvy Business Development Manager to drive our national fleet portfolio.

This is not a desk-bound sales role.

You will work with government, fleet management organisations, leasing providers and major transport operators, building strategic partnerships, winning new business, and helping customers transition to zero-emission technology.

What You'll Be Doing

Winning new fleet business and growing key customer relationships

Leading major opportunities, tenders and contract negotiations

Developing and executing growth strategies across a national portfolio

Helping customers navigate the transition to zero-emission transport

Representing VDI and Yutong at industry events, conferences and customer engagements

Working with a passionate team focused on delivering exceptional customer outcomes

What You'll Bring

Proven success in business development,



fleet sales or strategic account management

Experience in transport, buses, trucks, automotive, heavy vehicles or a related industry

Strong commercial and negotiation skills

The ability to influence senior decision-makers and build trusted partnershipsA growth mindset, competitive drive and passion for customer success

Experience with EV or sustainable transport solutions is highly regarded
