Maintenance & Compliance Coordinator – SDA Properties The Property Investment Store – Kirrawee NSW
SDA Management Australia is looking for a highly organised and self-motivated Maintenance & Compliance Coordinator to manage maintenance and compliance activities across our portfolio of Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) properties.
This is primarily a coordination and administration role. You will be responsible for ensuring our external maintenance and compliance contractors are booked, provided with access, followed up, and that required works are completed and properly recorded.
You will be responsible for coordinating maintenance and compliance matters from initial request through to completion, including issuing Work Orders, engaging contractors, arranging access, obtaining quotations and reports, following up outstanding works, and ensuring all required documentation is accurately recorded.Solid follow-up skills and attention to detail are essential, as you will be responsible for ensuring jobs do not remain outstanding and compliance deadlines are not missed.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating maintenance requests across our property portfolio
Booking and managing external trades and contractors
Coordinating property access with tenants and relevant parties
Scheduling regular compliance inspections and services
Following up with contractors to ensure works are completed on time
Maintaining accurate records, reports and compliance documentation
Liaising with property managers, tenants,
support providers and contractors
Managing multiple jobs and priorities at the same time
Obtaining quotations and following up approvals where required
Maintaining a compliance calendar and ensuring required services are completed within due dates
Reviewing contractor reports, photos and completion documentation and escalating outstanding issues to the Property Manager
Following maintenance matters through from initial request to completion and ensuring Work Orders are properly closed off
Checking contractor invoices against approved works/quotations and forwarding them for processing
Assisting with coordination of urgent maintenance matters and prioritising works appropriately
About you We're looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and capable of managing their own workload . You should be comfortable dealing with multiple contractors and following jobs through from initial request to completion.
Experience in property management, facilities management, maintenance coordination or contractor management would be highly regarded.
Experience with property management software would also be a strong advantage.
You don't necessarily need previous SDA or NDIS experience — we're more interested in finding someone with the right organisational skills, attitude and ability to get things done.
Location: Based at our Kirrawee, Sydneyoffice .
Rate: $40–$45 per hour, depending on experience.
