About the Role

n

We are seeking a confident, results-driven Showroom Sales Consultant to join our team in a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm.

n

This is first and foremost a sales and customer service role. You'll be the face of our showroom, engaging with customers, understanding their needs and helping them select the right products for their projects.

n

You'll manage the full sales cycle — from initial enquiry and product selection through to quoting, follow-up and closing the sale.

n

We are a small, hands-on team, so from time to time you'll also assist with preparing customer orders, receiving stock and occasional local deliveries. This is only a small part of the role, but you'll need to be physically fit and happy to lend a hand when required.

Strong sales ability and communication skills are our priorities, and full product training will be provided.

What You'll Be Doing

n

Showroom Sales & Customer Service

n

n
- Welcome and assist retail and trade customers
n
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions
n




- Guide customers through product selections to suit their project, style and budget
n
- Prepare accurate quotes and actively follow up enquiries and sales opportunities
n
- Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to order and completion
n
- Process orders and payments accurately
n
- Respond to telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally
n
- Liaise with suppliers regarding products, availability and orders
n
- Build relationships with homeowners, builders, designers and trade customers
n
- Maintain a professional and well-presented showroom
n
- Work with the team to achieve sales targets and provide an excellent customer experience
n

Occasional Warehouse & Delivery Support

n

n
- Assist with receiving and checking incoming stock when required
n
- Help prepare customer orders for collection or delivery
n
- Assist with safely loading and unloading products
n
- Complete occasional local customer deliveries
n
- Help keep warehouse and dispatch areas organised
n

n

The warehouse and delivery component is a small part of the role and not the main focus.

n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who is naturally good with people, enjoys selling and is confident taking a customer from initial enquiry through to a completed sale.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n




- Proven experience in showroom, retail or consultative sales
n
- Confidence managing the full sales cycle from enquiry through to close
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills
n
- Confidence preparing quotes and actively following up sales opportunities
n
- Comfort assisting customers with higher-value purchases where advice and reassurance are important
n
- A genuine interest in bathrooms, home renovation, interiors or the building industry
n
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- A proactive, reliable and team-focused attitude
n
- The physical ability to safely assist with manual handling when required
n
- A current Australian driver's licence
n

Previous experience in bathroomware, tiles, plumbing, kitchens, interiors, building products or a similar industry would be highly regarded, although product training can be provided to the right salesperson.
