Gate Gourmet, part of gategroup, is a global food service provider delivering premium catering solutions across aviation and corporate environments. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-focused Catering Assistant to support our onsite team at a flagship corporate location in Sydney CBD (close to public transport).
n Shifts: Monday to Friday10:30am - 5:00pm (Part-time)

n The Role
n You will play a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping the kitchen operating efficiently and safely. Your focus will be maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation within a professional kitchen setting. Key responsibilities are:

- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment
n
- Wash and sanitise crockery, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
n
- Sort, stack and store clean items correctly
n
- Maintain adequate stock of clean dishes during service periods
n
- Clean kitchen appliances, surfaces and floors
n




- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies
n
- Dispose of waste and maintain a safe, organised workspace
n
- Follow food safety and Work Health & Safety procedures
n

About You
n We're looking for someone dependable, efficient and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
n To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines

- Good time management skills
n
- Previous hospitality or kitchen experience (highly regarded)

- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (desirable)
