This is a key role in a multi-disciplinary team driving the bank's transition from a legacy Hadoop/Cloudera platform to a modern AWS-based data platform. You'll work closely with data engineers, architects, and cloud specialists to support scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure.

? Key Responsibilities

- Manage, maintain, and evolve cloud infrastructure on AWS
n
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing
n
- Build and support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation
n
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to support data pipeline delivery
n
- Assist in the migration from Cloudera/Hadoop to AWS-native services (e.g., S3, EMR, Glue, Redshift, Lambda)
n
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting across the cloud workplace
n




- Support platform security, compliance, and cost optimisation in line with financial services standards
n
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues across dev, test, and prod environments
n

Your Skills & Experience

n

n
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer in enterprise environments
n
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, EMR, Glue, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC)
n
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, etc.)
n
- Proficiency in IaC tools - Terraform preferred
n
- Experience supporting big data platforms or working with data engineering teams
n
- Exposure to Hadoop/Cloudera environments and understanding of migration challenges
n
- Familiarity with cloud security and compliance in the banking/financial sector is highly desirable
