The Opportunity

n

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our team and take ownership of engineering and project delivery across a significant civil construction project. This is a hands-on site-based role suited to a Project Engineer who understands earthworks, construction methodology and what it takes to keep a project moving.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Managing engineering and construction activities across your allocated scope
n
- Planning and monitoring 3-week look-ahead programs
n
- Coordinating plant, materials, subcontractors and procurement
n
- Monitoring productivity, costs and project milestonesSupporting variations, progress claims and commercial administration
n
- Managing quality documentation, ITPs, hold points and NCRs
n
- Supporting site safety, SWMS and risk management
n
- Managing RFIs, drawings, registers and project documentation
n
- Working closely with the client, subcontractors and site team to ensure successful project delivery
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- 4+ years' solid Australian civil construction experience
n
- Strong earthworks experience - essential




n
- Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
n
- Previous experience working in a site-based Project Engineer role
n
- Strong understanding of civil construction methodology and sequencing
n
- Experience managing subcontractors, procurement, programming and project costs
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Current Australian driver's license and Clear Police Check
n
- Experience with Jobpac and Expert Estimation will be highly regarded but is not essential.
