The Role

n

The role requires an experienced and qualified Early Childhood Educators to work as an active team member in providing high quality education and care. This is a excellent opportunity for early childhood professionals who are passionate about early childhood education and take Montessori Academy's already outstanding educational program to the next level.

- develop strong relationships with children at the service
n
- develop the Children's Program (reflecting Early Years Learning Framework guidelines)
n
- ensure a safe environment is maintained for staff and children
n
- implement the service's philosophy in undertaking all other duties
n
- liaise with families in regards to the day to day happenings.
n
- maintain observations and records of individual children's progress
n

n





If you're new to childcare or interested in working while you study, Montessori Academy supports new and emerging educators by offering traineeships in childcare.

About you:

n

n
- Cert III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, ECT qualification or willing to obtain one
n
- Current Working with Children Check
n
- First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one
n
- Excellent understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, which includes: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
n
- Strong understanding of the importance of family communications
n
- Commitment to the holistic development of their class
n
