to join a busy catering and hospitality team based at a major Defence site in

Puckapunyal . This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional kitchen environment supporting daily food service operations.

About the Role You will play a key role in maintaining kitchen cleanliness, supporting chefs, and ensuring smooth daily operations within a fast-paced food service environment.

Roster & Hours

Monday to Sunday availability required

Typical start time around

10:00am

Approximately

7.5-hour shifts

Shift times may vary based on operational requirements

Flexibility across all days is essential

Key Responsibilities

Maintain kitchen cleanliness and wash dishes, utensils, and equipment

Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks

Receive, unpack, and store deliveries safely and efficiently

Support the kitchen team with daily operational duties

Follow all food safety, hygiene,



and workplace safety procedures

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar hospitality role

Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends

Strong work ethic and reliability

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions

A team-focused attitude

Essential Requirements Due to the nature of the site, applicants must:

Be an

Australian Citizen

Hold a current driver's licence and have access to reliable transport

Be willing to obtain a

National Police Check

Be able to pass any required pre-employment screening
