LIGHT VEHICLE FITTER | COBAR NSW | FIFO FROM SYDNEY - Keep the Fleet Moving. Keep the Mine Running. Our client is a specialist mining contractor supporting operations across NSW, and they’re looking for a Light Vehicle Fitter to join their crew in Cobar.

This isn’t your standard workshop job.

You’ll be working in office, looking after a small, well-maintained fleet of Landcruisers and Hiluxes that the mine relies on every day. It’s hands‑on work, good gear, solid conditions and a crew that knows what they’re doing.

What You’ll Be Looking After You’ll be responsible for keeping a small fleet of mine vehicles safe, reliable and ready to work, including:

10x Landcruisers

2–3x Hiluxes





Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

Mechanical repairs and fault finding

Basic electrical troubleshooting

Pre-starts and vehicle inspections

Condition monitoring and general fleet maintenance

Ensuring vehicles remain

safe, reliable and mine-compliant

What You’ll Need

Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology

or equivalent

Light vehicle mechanical experience

Mining, heavy industry or dealership experience highly regarded

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Safety-first attitude and good attention to detail

Ability to pass a

Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screen

Cobar. FIFO from Sydney. $55/hr. 12-hour shifts. Solid fleet. Long-term work.
