We're looking for a trade-qualified

Maintenance Electrician

to join our Engineering team at

Arnott's Virginia .

You'll work across high-speed manufacturing equipment, responding to breakdowns, completing planned maintenance and diagnosing electrical and automation faults to keep our production lines running safely and reliably.

This is a hands-on role for an electrician who enjoys finding the cause of a problem, getting equipment running again and looking for ways to prevent the issue happening next time.

What you'll be doing

Fault-find and repair electrical issues on high-speed manufacturing equipment

Respond to breakdowns and minimise production downtime

Complete preventative and planned electrical maintenance

Support PLC diagnostics and troubleshoot automation systems

Diagnose recurring equipment issues and identify improvements

Complete maintenance handovers and CMMS documentation

Work closely with Production, Engineering and Maintenance teams

Contribute to equipment upgrades and continuous improvement

Work safely in line with site, OH&S;, GMP and quality requirements

The role spans both reactive and planned maintenance, with a strong focus on equipment reliability and improving site performance.

What we're looking for First and foremost, you'll be a





trade-qualified Electrician

who is confident working hands-on with industrial equipment.

Ideally, you'll bring:

Industrial electrical maintenance experience

Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability

Experience working with automation systems

A strong commitment to safe work practices

A practical, proactive approach to problem-solving

Clear communication and the ability to work across production and maintenance teams

Experience using

SAP

and working in a high-speed FMCG or manufacturing workplace would be highly regarded.
