Edge Rail Solutions is seeking an experienced

HR & Compliance Advisor

to join our growing team and provide hands‑on support across

Human Resources, workforce compliance, safety and employee relations .

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working across both

people and compliance , with a strong focus on ensuring our workforce is qualified, compliant and ready to work across our rail and infrastructure projects.

About the Role A key focus of this position is managing and monitoring our

workforce compliance requirements . You will work closely with management, operations and employees to ensure workers meet company, client, rail industry and legislative requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting regular

workforce compliance checks .

Managing and monitoring

RIW profiles, competencies, medicals and inductions .

Checking and maintaining

licences, tickets, qualifications and competency records .

Completing

pre‑mobilisation compliance checks

to ensure workers meet project and client requirements.

Monitoring expiry dates and following up outstanding compliance requirements.

Maintaining accurate HR logs and reporting to management.

Providing practical

HR advice and support

to managers and employees.

Supporting

employee relations, performance, conduct, workplace complaints and employment matters .

Assisting with HR policies, procedures and employment documentation.

Supporting client prequalification, audits and workforce compliance requirements.

Identifying HR and compliance risks and recommending improvements.

Supporting the

Office Manager with ISO management systems , including documentation, audit preparation and follow‑up actions.





Contributing to the ongoing improvement of HR and workforce compliance processes.

Supporting the General Manager with tender submissions.

About You We're looking for an experienced HR and compliance professional who can confidently support both our people and workforce compliance requirements.

You will have:

A

relevant HR qualification

in Human Resources, Workplace Relations, Business or a related discipline.

Demonstrated experience in an

HR advisory, HR compliance or similar role .

Sound working knowledge of the

Fair Work Act 2009, National Employment Standards (NES) and Australian workplace relations requirements .

Experience providing practical HR advice to managers and employees.

Experience supporting

employee relations, performance management, conduct and workplace matters .

Experience conducting workforce compliance checks and maintaining accurate employee records.

Confidence checking

RIW requirements, tickets, licences, qualifications and competencies .

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Ability to work independently while working collaboratively with management and operational teams.

Experience in

rail, construction, infrastructure or labour hire

will be highly regarded.

Experience supporting

ISO management systems or audits

will be highly regarded.
