Job Description
Our client is a highly regarded design practice seeking an experienced Studio Manager to join their team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. There is high potential for the contract to be extended for the right person.
n
Supporting both the operational and administrative functions of the business, you will be responsible for managing studio operations and coordinating monthly client invoices. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys being at the center of a busy studio.

Roles & Responsibilities
n
Studio Operations
n
n
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the studio and ensure a professional and well functioning workplace.
n
- Manage office facilities, suppliers, service providers and workplace resources.
n
- Liaise with IT support providers and coordinate technology-related requirements.
n
- Support onboarding activities, team events and general administrative functions.
n
- Maintain and support established studio systems, processes and procedures.
n
n
Client Billing & Financial Coordination
n
n
- Coordinate the monthly invoicing process across all project teams.
n
- Meet with Team Leaders to review project billing, discuss fee forecasts and ensure invoicing remains aligned with project performance.
n
- Facilitate the preparation of approximately 100 client invoices per month.
n
- Work closely with senior leadership to ensure billing deadlines and revenue targets are met.
n
- Maintain accurate billing records and follow up outstanding invoicing requirements.
n

Skills & Experience
n
n
- 6+ years' experience in a Studio Manager, Office Manager or Practice Manager role
n
- Experience coordinating invoicing, project billing or financial administration processes.
n
- Proven executive or personal assistant support experience.
n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
n
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to take ownership of tasks.
n
- Experience within architecture, interior design, engineering or professional services environments.
n
- A highly capable operator who enjoys being the go-to person within the business.
n
- Team-oriented and team-oriented, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed.
n
- Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to remain composed under changing priorities.
n
