Marine Care Qld are a fast-growing Recent Boat & Outboard Sales and Service business based in the of heart Redlands, the gateway to Southern Moreton Bay. We are seeking an experienced Mechanic / Technician to provide a high level of expertise and experience to satisfy the needs of our clients for servicing Yamaha and Evinrude outboards. Opportunity to be cross trained to marine / outboard for the right candidate.

There is also an opportunity to be on the road in our Mobile Service Vehicle for the right canidate.

Mandatory Requirements of the position include the following:
n
Demonstrated experience in working in a similar business (marine outboard servicing is preferred)
n
Ability to service motors as per manufacturers guidelines.
n
Ability to diagnose issues with outboards unsupervised.
n
Be passionate about boating and the water
n
Desirable Requirements of the position include the following:
n
Experience in outboards and/or motorbikes ideal
n
Factory based training with a major marine engine brand(preferred Yamaha and/or Evinrude)
n
Fit out experience - electric motors, sounders, battery systems, 12v
n
Roles and Responsibilities:
n
Service and repair boats and outboard motors as required.
n
Pre-deliver new boats and outboards
n
Resolve technical issues
n
Participation in supplier training programs
n
This is a full-time position based on 38hr week Monday to Friday on an hourly rate with overtime as wanted/required. The rate will be discussed with the successful applicant taking into consideration of experience, skill set and expertise suited for the role. Uniform supplied.
