Key Responsibilities

- Partner in Leadership: Work hand-in-hand with the Centre Manager to ensure the smooth, vibrant daily operation of the service.
- Mentor & Inspire: Lead, coach, and support educators on the floor to achieve exceptional, high-quality practice.
- Uphold Excellence: Assist in maintaining absolute compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Regulations.
- Connect with Community: Foster warm, positive, and meaningful relationships with PlayPatch children, families, and visitors.
- Operational Support: Help manage key administration tasks, including efficient rostering and service workflows.
- Grow the Team: Assist with recruitment, welcoming onboarding, and ongoing educator development.
- Champion Culture:



Actively promote a positive, cooperative, and uplifting workplace culture where everyone feels valued.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the service's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and drive excellent learning outcomes.

About You

- The Right Mindset: An energetic, solution-focused attitude, high emotional intelligence, and a passion for learning and growing.
- Leadership Foundation: Previous experience in a leadership role within ECEC (e.g., Room Leader, Educational Leader, or Assistant Director).
- NQF Knowledge: A solid working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Regulations, and NQS.
- Exceptional Communication: Brilliant people skills with the ability to confidently support educators and connect with families.
- Organisational Flair: Strong time-management skills and the ability to keep operational tasks running smoothly.
- Credentials: A current Queensland Blue Card and current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
