Our client, Cessnock Leagues Club, is looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join Terrace Kitchen team as the Restaurant Supervisor.

This is a excellent opportunity for someone who loves being part of the action and is ready to take the next step in their hospitality career.

Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you’ll help lead the front-of-house team, coordinate busy services and make sure members and guests receive a consistently welcoming and professional dining experience. When the Restaurant Manager isn’t on shift, you’ll provide hands-on leadership to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be visible on the floor and actively involved in service, with a focus on:

- Supporting the restaurant team and coordinating front-of-house service
- Keeping service running smoothly, particularly during busy periods
- Working closely with the kitchen and bar teams to deliver a great customer experience
- Coaching team members and supporting the training and onboarding of new employees
- Engaging with members and guests, resolving service issues and responding to feedback
- Maintaining high standards of presentation, RSA, WHS, food safety and operational compliance.

You’ll also assist with bookings, POS and cash handling, shift procedures,



functions and special events as required.

About you

You’ll bring energy, confidence and a genuine passion for hospitality. Ideally, you’ll have:

- Experience in restaurant, hospitality or food and beverage service
- Supervisory or team leadership experience, or the confidence and experience to take that next step
- Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to lead a team and stay calm and organised during busy services
- Experience with POS and restaurant booking systems
- A current RSA and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
