About the role

Join Raymonds Warehouse, a leading stockfeed, pet and gardening retailer, and become part of a friendly team that values practical knowledge and genuine customer service. We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant with retail experience and an interest in the equine industry. This diverse role combines customer service, product advice, sales, merchandising and hands-on store duties.

Store hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–5:30 pm, and Saturday, 8:00 am–3:00 pm. Availability across these hours, including alternate Saturdays.

What you’ll be doing

· Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable face-to-face service.

· Process daily sales and help customers choose the right products for their needs.

· Identify opportunities to recommend relevant products and maximise sales.

· Build strong knowledge of our stockfeed, pet, gardening and equine ranges.

· Receive, check, label and put away incoming stock.

· Create tidy, attractive displays and help keep the store clean and well presented.

· Support the team with general administration and other day-to-day store tasks.

What you’ll bring





· Retail sales or customer service experience; relevant experience will be highly regarded.

· Knowledge of, or a genuine interest in, the equine industry.

· Confidence using computers and learning new systems.

· Strong communication skills and a helpful, customer-first approach.

· The ability to prioritise, stay organised and follow tasks through in a busy workplace.

· Excellent attention to detail, punctuality and reliability.

· A current driver licence and reliable transport.

· Flexibility to cover rostered shifts.

· A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
