Miyori is opening a new gift and lifestyle kiosk at Chatswood Chase, and we are seeking two reliable, responsible and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistants to join our team.

Students are welcome to apply. Mandarin-speaking candidates are highly preferred.

We are looking for people who can confidently manage the kiosk independently, provide excellent customer service and take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the kiosk during their rostered shifts.

Trading Hours

- Monday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Total kiosk trading hours: 64 hours per week

Roster

We are hiring 3 team members on a rotating roster across 7 days.

Applicants should be flexible and available to work a combination of weekdays, Thursday evenings and weekends.

This position may particularly suit university or tertiary students looking for regular retail work around their studies.

Key Responsibilities

- Opening and closing the kiosk independently
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Operating POS and EFTPOS systems
- Cash handling and reconciliation
- Receiving, organising and managing stock
- Maintaining attractive product displays
- Gift wrapping
- Taking and printing passport photos
- Managing parcel collections and drop-offs
- Assisting with printing and personalised products
- Maintaining a clean, organised and skilled kiosk
- Monitoring stock levels and replenishment

What We're Looking For
- Highly reliable, honest and punctual




- Responsible and comfortable working independently
- Friendly and confident when dealing with customers
- Positive communication skills
- Comfortable using computers, POS and EFTPOS systems
- Able to manage opening and closing procedures
- Good attention to detail
- Flexible availability
- Mandarin-speaking candidates are highly preferred

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred. Experience in a gift shop, newsagency, stationery store, pharmacy, convenience store or similar retail environment would be advantageous. Gift-wrapping experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Training

One week of comprehensive paid training will be provided, including POS/EFTPOS, opening and closing procedures, passport photography and printing, parcel services, stock management, gift wrapping and other kiosk operations.

Pay

Pay will be in accordance with Australian workplace laws and the applicable Retail Award, including applicable casual loading and penalty rates.
