Vehicle Repair Certification Limited – Sydney CBD NSW

You'll be JLR's in-market lead for the Body & Paint Programme across Asia Pacific, Importer and Overseas markets — responsible for an authorised bodyshop network delivering structural, non-structural and EV repairs to manufacturer standard, every time. You're the connection point between JLR, National Sales Companies, importers, Authorised Bodyshops, Surventis and the team. This is a market to run, not a report to file — you set the direction for the network, you hold it to standard, and you're measured on what it actually delivers.

Key responsibilities

n

Programme governance and compliance including annual standards evaluations, re-certifications, onboarding and network exits

n

Maintain accurate compliance status in FIMS and identify, escalation and remediate non-compliance

n

Assess network capability, capacity and gaps, and bring recent bodyshops through to certification

n

Lead commercial initiatives that lift OEM parts sales, customer retention, workflow and business performance

n

Manage insurer engagement, accident management, total loss avoidance and repair retention

n

Lead regional recognition activity including Bodyshop of the Year

n





Monitor market KPI performance against agreed targets with monthly and quarterly reporting to JLR and market stakeholders

n

Maintain programme data accurately in MONITRR and related systems

n

Ensure standards adherence, training compliance and technical capability across the network

n

Monitor technician competency, EV training compliance and repair quality to manufacturer specification

n

About you

n

Proven experience running bodyshops, managing an automotive network, or delivering an OEM programme

n

Demonstrated knowledge of what moves cycle time and labour recovery

n

Proven experience managing compliance and governance frameworks including audits, standards evaluations and remediation

n

Strong analytical and reporting skills with commercial instinct to identify market opportunities

n

Ability to influence without direct authority

n

Willingness to travel across the APIO market

n

Full working rights in Australia and a current driver's licence

n

Experience with EV repair certification, insurer and accident management relationships, or OEM approved-repairer programmes viewed favourably
