What You'll Be Doing

n

- Lead a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment where children's rights, voice, identity and wellbeing are central.
n
- Oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of high quality, child led curriculum experiences.
n
- Mentor and support team members, fostering reflective practice, professional growth and collaboration.
n
- Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families and staff, promoting engagement and advocacy.
n
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements, including the NQF, child safe standards and organisational policies.
n
- Manage operational, administrative and financial aspects of the centre to maintain service excellence.
n
- Act as a strong advocate for children, families and the early learning sector within the community.
n
- Collaborate with the team to share ideas, drive continuous improvement and maintain a positive workplace culture.
n
- Uphold professional boundaries and ethical conduct in line with legislative requirements.

What You'll Bring

n

n
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent).
n
- Proven leadership experience in early childhood education and team management.
n
- Strong knowledge of the NQF, approved learning frameworks,



child development and compliance requirements.
n
- Strong understanding of child safe legislation, mandatory reporting obligations and safeguarding responsibilities within early childhood education and care.
n
- Commitment to children's health, safety and wellbeing.
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certifications, or willingness to obtain.
n
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
n
- Ability to mentor, motivate and inspire team members to achieve high quality outcomes.
n
- Current Working With Children Check/Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
n
- Understanding of inclusive and culturally responsive practices.
n
