With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued business growth, our client is seeking a talented Wet & Dry Fire Designer / Drafter to become a key member of their design team.

The Role Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Construction Teams, you will be responsible for developing compliant Fire Protection designs and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed Dry Fire and Wet Fire system designs

Prepare AutoCAD and Revit documentation

Develop Fire Detection, EWIS and VESDA designs

Produce shop drawings,



fabrication drawings and construction documentation

Complete design reviews and ensure compliance with Australian Standards

Interpret architectural, structural and services drawings

Attend design coordination meetings

Liaise with clients, consultants and project stakeholders

Assist throughout design, procurement and delivery phases

Support the successful delivery of major construction projects

Skills & Experience Industry Experience

Fire Protection industry experience

Dry Fire and/or Wet Fire design experience

Commercial construction project exposure

Experience producing compliant Fire Protection designs

Understanding of Australian Standards and NCC requirements

Ideal Background

Fire Protection Contractor

Fire Services Contractor

Fire Design Consultancy

Commercial construction workplace

Data Centre project experience highly regarded

Industrial and mission‑critical project exposure highly regarded

Relevant Engineering qualification preferred but not essential





Significant industry experience considered in lieu of formal qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 1 year within the Fire Protection industry

Fire Protection design experience

AutoCAD experience

Revit experience

Ability to produce compliant Fire Protection designs

Strong technical understanding of Dry Fire systems
